We woke up at 6:45 to get to the shopping district near senso-ji. Oldest Buddhist temple / site in Tokyo at around 680 ad or so. Nothing is open yet so we’re waiting until 9 for the shops to open. Got a few snacks at senso-ji- Then made our way to sushi class! It was great! A lot of fun making rolls and traditional sushi. Hoi hoi hoi! THere was a 12 step process for getting the sushi correct. They were good at helping us and we ended up with a decent sushi plate (and saki) :) We took a subway and walked to Tokyo tower! Went to the top of the 334 meters Many glass elevators which made me nervous. Great view from the top! Not even the tallest anymore but still impressive. Took a cab to the mall where we walked around some neat stores: Pokémon cafe and Pokémon store. One piece store, etc Then we went to the observatory to our second city observatory of the day. Found some seats by the window and just look out across the city!
